FEATURED CALLER: Mike Seastrom

.
Mike started dancing after losing a best to his mother and started calling when he tried to show his sixth grade teacher "what square dancing was really like."
Mike teaches, calls basic square dance through C-1, prompts contra, amd also enjoys doing dance party events when his schedule allows. He is a strong advocate for the multi-cycle method of teaching new dancers and enjoyed a very successful program with the Valley Trailers Square Dance Club in California. Mike currently teaches for Buckles & Bows.
FEATURED CUER: TJ & Bruce Chadd

When not involved with dancing, TJ & Bruce enjoy traveling, fishing, paper crafting, reading, and spending as much time as possible with family (including 10 grandkids... how fun is that!).
Since TJ and Bruce began teaching together in 1997, they have taught and cued at three National Conventions, four Roundalab Conventions, and several USA West Conventions. The have also had the pleasure of being featured cuers at several events in the western states. They have choreographed a number of round dances, having the honor of three selected as Roundalab Rounds of the Quarter: Hope, a Phase III Waltz; All the Stars in the Sky, as Phase II Waltz; and Cheek To Cheek, a Phase IV Foxtrot.

Wallace, Idaho
2017 Idaho State Square & Round Dance Festival was excellent!
Area I, Northern Idaho Panhandle Clubs, did a fantastic job organizing the first festival at the "Center of the Universe".. It was wonderful to see square dancing in the street again with several squares and dozens of onlookers. Wallace, Idaho is such an interesting and unique place. The featured Caller and Cuer, Scot & Erin Byars, were phenomenal as usual! To all participating Idaho Callers and Cuers, we sincerely thank you as well for your generous contribution of time and energy to assure the weekend was a success. Idaho dancers salute all of you for a Festival well done.
